The 2026 CVC Annual Meeting brings together clinical experts and researchers from the Medical University of Vienna with internationally renowned scientists to discuss current developments and future prospects in cardiovascular medicine.
The Cardiovascular Medicine Research Cluster is a multidisciplinary research structure dedicated to fostering positive synergies between basic scientists and clinical researchers in cardiovascular research, as diagnosis, treatment, and intensive research efforts require close collaboration across a wide range of disciplines to minimize the progression of cardiovascular diseases in the future.
This symposium not only offers a unique overview of the current state of the field and the future of medical innovations, but also provides insights into the latest scientific developments, while simultaneously creating space for interdisciplinary exchange, networking, and the formation of new scientific collaborations.

The registration deadline is 11 November 2026.
Meeting venue
The event will take place in the Van Swieten Hall at MedUni Vienna, Van-Swieten-Gasse 1a, 1090 Vienna.
By public transportation:
Take subway line U6 to Währinger Straße/Volksoper, then walk about 8 minutes.
Alternatively, take tram lines 5, 33, or 37 to Lazarettgasse.
By car:
Parking is limited in the surrounding area (short-term parking zone). We recommend traveling by public transportation or using the AKH Vienna parking garage.
